In recent time, the naphthalene distillation unit of Chemical Project of Zhangjiang Steel started to charge material. This indicated that this project has entered overall trial production stage. This project was constructed by MCC5.
This project is located in Chemical Plant of Baosteel Group Zhanjiang Steel Base. The construction is divided into two stages: The first stage is for the auxiliary facilities for main works, including oil tank farms ( tar material tank farm, benzene tank farm) and truck loading system, pipe rack system, substation and power distribution, laboratory, central control room, canteen, shower room, and office building, etc. The second stage is for 200,000t /a tar processing unit and utility facilities, including naphthalene distillation unit, fraction washing and phenol salt decomposition unit, etc., tar finished products tank farm；substation and power distribution, central control room, circulating water station, fire-fighting water system, etc.
