Site Opening Ceremony
On March 4, the opening ceremony was held for Liji- Caijiazha Highway in Huangpi District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, indicating that the largest PPP project (Airport Expressway and Highway Network Project) invested by MCC5 in Hubei Province has formally started .
In the opening ceremony, Mr. Wu Zuyun (Party Secretary of Huangpi District Government) announced the project commencement. The site ready machineries blew the horns to start the construction of Liji-Caijiazha Highway.

Airport Expressway and Highway Network Project of Hangpi District is the infrastructure auxiliary facilities of Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (one of eight regional hub airports in China). This project consists of 5 subprojects: Qianchuan-Tianhe Expressway (eastern line), Liji-Caijiazha Highway, Qianchuan-Chenmentan Highway, Riverside Road along the eastern bank of Sheshui River, Hengdian-Wuhu Highway. The total length is 105km and the total investment is more than 3.2 billion RMB. It is a BOT (Build- Operate-Transfer) project. All subprojects are planned to be completed during 2016-2020. The construction period is 5 years; the operation & maintenance period is 10 years. Until the project is completed, it will improve the airport highway network in Huangpi District, Wuhan City. It will also upgrade the accessibility of Tianhe International Airport and meet the needs of annual passenger flow of 20 million in Tianhe International Airport, Wuhan City.（Reported by: Deng Chao）
