On March 21, MCC5 Group Shanghai Corp. Ltd. was awarded with Baosteel Tinplate Product Structure Optimization Project (Phase 1) Package 2.
This project is located in the yard of Baosteel Headquarter. It is a technical innovation project. The scope of construction includes the expansion of 1420/1550 waster water station, upgrading renovation, newly-built centralized compressed air station of No. 3 Cold Mill, renovation of the fuel facilities, thermal power, power supply & distribution. The built-up area is 10387.5m2，and the total construction period is 730 calendar days.
Baosteel Tinplate Plant has the annual production capacity of 900000t tinplates. Nowadays, Baosteel plan to move the plant to the yard of Baosteel Headquarter for renovation, aiming to adjust the product structure along with relocation and develop the super-thin 0.12mm and DR10 products.
