At 9:00AM (local time) of April 9, 2017，the first-hook lifting (30t) of chimney of blending system of Saudi YAMAMA Cement Plant was completed. This indicates that the work focus for core area (preheating tower area) of Cement Plant has transferred from civil work to erection work.
There are many buildings in the preheating tower area of Saudi YAMAMA Cement Plant; therefore, the erection work is in big quantities. The chimney of blending system is the highest building on the site. The height is 165m, the diameter is 7.3m, and the total weight is 604t.
With full start of erection work in the preheating tower area, we feel the time pressure. For this core area of Cement Plant, we shall make rational organization and important management to ensure completing preheating tower area as per the schedule.
