ON May 8，MCC5 Group Shanghai Corp. Ltd. was awarded with the contract of Baosteel No.1 & 2 Sintering Overhaul & Renovation Project.
This project is located in Shanghai Baosteel Sintering Plant. The scope of work mainly includes: To build one sintering machine (600m2) and the ancillary facilities. It is designed to annually produce 7,330,000t finished sintered ore. The supporting dust granulation system will be built. The project is predicted to be started at the end of June, 2017 and it is planned to make load test-run at he beginning of January, 2019. The total construction period is 559 calendar days.
The renovated sintering machine will adopt advanced, mature, stable and reliable process to guarantee that process equipment and automatic control will reach the domestic first-class level and international advanced level. It will improve the effective production capacity, lower the power consumption of sintering, and reduce the emission of particles, sulfur dioxide,nitrogen oxide, fluoride and dioxin, etc.
