Production Workshop
Application of BIM Technology

At Majinpu New City Industrial Base in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, a modern big foodstuff clean workshop (floor area: 71,600m2) has been built after 15 months. It is Yunnan Taikoo Coca-Cola Factory constructed by MCC5 Group Shanghai Corp. Ltd. During the project construction, we provided the Client with the full industrial chain value-added service to promote the smooth execution of the project. At present time, the first beverage filling production line is about to be put into production.
Yunnan Taikoo Coca-Cola Factory Project is to build a new factory with 7 beverage filling production lines. This project occupies more than 195,000m2. Until it is put into production, the annual beverage production capacity will reach 2.4 million ton. The beverage products include：Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Ice Dew, Pure Happiness and other brands of soda water and non-gas beverage. It will better meet the growing beverage demand of 47 million consumers in Yunnan province.
The main construction work of this project includes：Earthwork, concrete and foundation, steel structure, indoor and outdoor decoration work of building, plumbing work, HVAC system, mechanical and electrical installation, weak current installation of the main workshop, office building, production auxiliary facilities, fire-fighting and fire alarming system, external works, waste water station, chemicals storage, underground water tank, guardroom, etc. This project was formally commenced in April, 2016. The equipment installation was handed over in April, 2017. The project passed the acceptance inspection on August 1, 2017.
MCC5 is the construction general contractor for this project. During the project construction, we provided the full industrial chain value-added service by adopting BIM technology, deepening design, and rational advices, so as to reduce the cost of the Client and improve the construction efficiency for construction enterprises.
This project is the first construction general contracting project of our company in foodstuff & beverage industry. It has won the respect of the Client and promoted the transformation development of our company.
