Recently, MCC5 Group Shanghai Corp. Ltd. has won the bid for EPC Project of Life & Health Innovation Center of Nanjing International Health City. This project is our company\'s first prefabricated building project. This indicates that our company has formally stepped into the prefabricated building industry.
The Prefabricated building is a kind of building which is assembled with prefabricated components produced by the factories. From the perspective of structural form, the prefabricated concrete structures, steel structures and wooden structures can all be called as “prefabricated building”. Due to the rapid construction and low cost of production, prefabricated buildings have rapidly spread around the world. On September 30th, 2016, The General Office of the State Council issued the "Guidance on Vigorously Developing Prefabricated Buildings", proposing to focus on the three urban agglomerations of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta, and make active promotion in the other cities with a permanent population of more than 3 million, aiming to develop prefabricated concrete structures, steel structures and modern wooden structures according to the local conditions.
The project is located in Jiangbei New Area, Pukou District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. The building area is about 25000m2. The scope of work includes the design within the scope (deepening design of proposal and preliminary design, construction drawings design and the related supporting services), procurement and service of equipment and materials, construction general contracting, etc. The contract duration is 305 calendar days.
